WHERE TO START LEARNING TO BECOME A WEB DEVELOPER FOR FREE?

There are lots of websites online that provide free platforms and resources for people to learn web development at their ease and pace. Besides YouTube, I would recommend:

1. Codecademy: This will always be my number one because it is where I began my programming journey. It is an online learning platform that offers free coding classes in programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, C++, HTML, and CSS. You can find this on https://www.codecademy.com/
2. Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/courses/free/
3. Skillcrush: This is a total beginner-friendly intro to tech where you will learn how to code in the simplest terms possible — and even get to try writing your own code. You can find this on https://learn.skillcrush.com/skillcrush-free-bootcamp/
4. Free Code Camp: https://www.freecodecamp.org/
5. Khan Academy: https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-programming
6. The Odin Project: https://www.theodinproject.com/
7. Code.org: https://code.org/
8. Codewars: Offers one of the more diverse lists of programming languages including Python, SQL, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, etc. Find this on https://www.codewars.com/
9. Free Course Site: https://www.learningcrux.com/programming/course/1

TO LEARN GIT VERSION CONTROL

1. Git Immersion: This is a free guided tour that walks you through the fundamentals of Git, from installing it to choosing graphical clients to make it easier to use. https://gitimmersion.com/
2. Try Git: Gives you resources that get you comfortable with Git and GitHub.
3. GitHub Learning Lab: https://lab.github.com/

ON YOUTUBE:
I would recommend The Net Ninja tutorials.

Happy coding!
